Is ISIS following instructions or inventing an Ideology?

Study on what extremists use for ideology

Most moderate Muslims I know agree with this statement. However, one has to wonder, what's Isis preaching, and where do they get their doctrine from? After the events occurred in Jakarta on January 14th, I heard and saw lots of rejection from the majority of moderate Muslims. Some said, for example that they can't believe how they kidnap and use sex slaves. One person even told me "The prophet would have never allowed it". This is not new. Even before the attacks in Jakarta, people rejected ISIS actions:

It angers me to see the exceptionally brutal methods used by the group bearing the Islamic symbol. It’s nothing more than identity theft. The mass beheading is sickening. The capture of the beautiful young Yazidi women for God knows what purpose by those sick men is nauseating. These terrorists have brought shame and disgrace to humanity. They have hijacked Islam

These statements resound in my mind. So I decided to make a little research. The reader may come to a conclusion after going through what I found. While looking at sources of what Isis believe with regards to sex slaves, I came through a manual:

 http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/middle-east/isis-releases-abhorrent-sex-slaves-pamphlet-with-27-tips-for-militants-on-taking-punishing-and-9915913.html
“The content, while it is abhorrent and shocking, is not surprising – we know that IS ideologues have justified and legitimated slavery in past publications.”

After reading some of their answers, I noticed their answers are aligned with Muslim writings. For example:

Question 2: What makes al-sabi permissible?

"What makes al-sabi permissible [i.e., what makes it permissible to take such a woman captive] is [her] unbelief. Unbelieving [women] who were captured and brought into the abode of Islam are permissible to us, after the imam distributes them [among us]."

Question 4: Is it permissible to have intercourse with a female captive?

"It is permissible to have sexual intercourse with the female captive. Allah the almighty said: '[Successful are the believers] who guard their chastity, except from their wives or (the captives and slaves) that their right hands possess, for then they are free from blame [Koran 23:5-6]'..."

Question 9: If the female captive was impregnated by her owner, can he then sell her?

He can’t sell her if she becomes the mother of a child….

Question 17: What is al-’azl?

Al-’azl is refraining from ejaculating on a woman’s pudendum [i.e., coitus interruptus].

Question 18: May a man use the al-’azl [technique] with his female slave?

A man is allowed [to use] al-’azl during intercourse with his female slave with or without her consent.

It was narrated from 'Abdur-Rahman bin Bishr bin Mas'ud, who attributed the Hadith to Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri, that mention of that (coitus interruptus) was made to the Messenger of Allah and he said:
"Why do you do that?" We said: "A man may have a wife, and he has intercourse with her, but he does not want her to get pregnant, or he may have a concubine, and he has intercourse with her, but he does not want her to get pregnant." He said: "It does not make any difference if you do that, for it is the matter of Al-Qadr."
