The Glory of The Spirit and the Law

The word of God does not change. The standard of Holiness of God has never changed.

Hebrews 8:7 the old covenant is faulty, thus why a new covenant was offered. The cross demonstrates that the Old covenant lacks.

The Law was given us to show us the standard of sanctity of God. It's for sinners like us to realize we need the help of God. The purpose of the Law is fulfilled when it brings us to The Messiah. From there onwards, He is the one who justifies us and the one who makes us righteous. Through faith in Him alone.

The law makes you conscious of sin, while His grace makes you conscious of your righteousness freely acquired through The Messiah.

It is difficult trying to make sense out of the law on our own efforts. The key to unveil the message of the law is in one single word: love. Love is the power that moves grace, and grace is the value required to fulfill the law. Christ is He who came to fulfill the law and the prophets. He who knew not sin became sin so that we the sinners could become righteous. If you want to understand the law, and you want to fulfill it, you must understand that both are done through Christ. Without Him is not possible to fully understand it and without Him is not possible to fulfill it.

The Spirit is the power which continuously produces in us an inward change of our hearts and attitude.
