Do The Gospels document that Jesus claimed to be God?

An argument is often brought forward to support the idea tha Jesus Christ, Isa Al-Masih, never claimed to be God. When we claim something for us, we can do it orally, written or by action. Either something we say or something we do demonstrates who we are. Perhaps you have hear this Argument. Jesus never said explicitly, I am God, worship me. The first question I'd like to ask is whether you've read the Bible or not. The second is if you have given the chance to understand its contents or not. Regardless the answer to those questions, I invite you to read the notes below. They summarize the accounts in which is seen wether Jesus claimed to be God or not. Please read this with critical and constructive eyes, with a sincere heart. Where  did  Jesus  Claim to be God in The Gospel According To Matthew? 1. He claimed the prophets were persecuted because of Him, implying he sent those prophets Prophets are messengers sent by God. Only he can send them. Jesus said to His disciples tha

Eating pork

In several occasions I've come across to people asking, if the Bible say that you shall not eat pork, why is it accepted among most Christians? In honor to the truth, it's not a question I had thought of when I was starting in my faith. I would say that a vast majority of Christians do not even give it a thought. And perhaps many of those who give it a thought may have a wrong idea. One common answer is saying that we are under the covenant of grace and as such we don't need to follow these requirements. However, I want to explore and explain a more thorough answer. Studying the Bible, and in specific in the Torah, one can find many commandments. Among those it was listed a number of foods that would make one person ceremonially unclean, defiled. The word in hebrew is transliterated Tame. It was said that when the one person would eat unclean food, this person was defiled. In Matthew chapter 15 is related the following story 1 Then Pharisees and scribes came from J

Is God unfair?

In the first 15 chapters of Exodus we read the accounts of the time when the people of Israel lived in Egypt. In several verses is said that God would harden the heart of Pharaoh. This certainly is a difficulty for any reader who may think of God as a tyrant, who did not love Pharaoh and simply pre-destined him to be an obstinate person. I would like to offer a short reflection looking beyond the a priori judgement. The Bible says God is love, and as such free will is necessary to enable true love to exist. God allows us to do anything we want, though this may be against His desires for us. The Bible also says that God is almighty, and He certainly could have the power to do anything, including hardening the heart of Pharaoh. A third characteristic of God I Would like to highlight is His omniscience, He knows it all. That includes knowledge of all events and of our choices, and the results of our choices.  The question is weather God really directly hardened the hear of Pharaoh. Did Go
