True love means loving everyone

I've been living for 12 years in Muslim countries around the globe, and I've seen different faces of Islam.  Most Muslims are friendly and respectful of other's beliefs. They are also quite zealous of their own, but not violent. They sieve through their scriptures on what is and what is not applicable today to ensure harmonious living respecting others'.  On the other hand, few Muslims do follow strictly what They read in their writings, even if that means persecuting infidels. For example  Ancient Iraqi Christian communities have been expelled following a decree by ISIS, that they must either convert to Islam, pay a tax or die.  ( http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/middle-east/last-few-iraqi-christians-flee-violence-and-threats-in-mosul-as-isis-continues-its-takeover-9622541.html). In sharia countries, people may face death if they leave Islam. Such was the case of  Mariam Yehya Ibrahim, the Sudanese Christian woman sentenced to death in Sudan because of h...

Debunking the Arguments to Debunk Any Missionary - Argument 4 of 5

Dear Ijaz and Beloved reader: I would like to respond to the third argument from your article  5 Arguments to Debunk Any Missionary . I hope you read my response with a critical and open spirit. I don’t intend to offend anyone with my comments. Rather, shed a different perspective to clarify the apparent issues presented in your article.  " Argument #4: According to Matthew 5:22, the Bible says: “But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to a brother or sister, ‘Raca,’ is answerable to the court. And anyone who says, ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of hell.” – Matthew 5:22. According to the Christian belief, since Jesus is God, then God is saying that calling anyone a ‘fool’ means then, that the person who does so is in danger of hell. As it turns out, Jesus breaks this rule and is therefore a sinner, and subsequently in danger of hell: “You blind fools! Which is greater: the gold, or the temp...

Debunking the Arguments to Debunk Any Missionary - Argument 3 of 5

Dear Ijaz and Beloved reader:   I would like to respond to the third argument from your article  5 Arguments to Debunk Any Missionary . I hope you read my response with a critical and open spirit. I don’t intend to offend anyone with my comments. Rather, shed a different perspective to clarify the apparent issues presented in your article.  " Argument #3: According to Matthew 27:46, the Bible says: “ About three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” (which means “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”). ” – Matthew 27:46. Show the Christian this verse and ask if it says that Jesus was forsaken by God. When they say yes, turn to the following verse: “ For the Lord loves the just and will not forsake his faithful ones. Wrongdoers will be completely destroyed; the offspring of the wicked will perish. ” – Psalm 37:28. According to this passage, if Christ was faithful, loved by God and Just,the...

The Jesus Seminar

I read yesterday an article about the Jesus Seminar. A seminar held by a large group so scholars who claimed: That Jesus never claimed to be the Messiah and did not predict the end of the world. Jesus probably did share a symbolic last meal with his disciples just before his death. But they think that the words attributed to Jesus in the Bible, comparing himself to the bread and wine that he passed around the table, were probably fabricated by followers after his death. The Lord's Prayer, which the Bible says Jesus taught to his followers, was also probably composed by Christians after his time on Earth had ended. John Dominic Crossan, a co-founder of the Jesus Seminar in 1985 and professor of Biblical studies at DePaul University in Chicago, says that "The image that comes out of our work is not a Jesus who was an apocalyptic visionary as much as he was a social revolutionary." He claims Jesus did not even say about 80-percent of the words attributed to him in the gospel...

The Glory of The Spirit and the Law

The word of God does not change. The standard of Holiness of God has never changed. Hebrews 8:7 the old covenant is faulty, thus why a new covenant was offered. The cross demonstrates that the Old covenant lacks. The Law was given us to show us the standard of sanctity of God. It's for sinners like us to realize we need the help of God. The purpose of the Law is fulfilled when it brings us to The Messiah. From there onwards, He is the one who justifies us and the one who makes us righteous. Through faith in Him alone. The law makes you conscious of sin, while His grace makes you conscious of your righteousness freely acquired through The Messiah. It is difficult trying to make sense out of the law on our own efforts. The key to unveil the message of the law is in one single word: love. Love is the power that moves grace, and grace is the value required to fulfill the law. Christ is He who came to fulfill the law and the prophets. He who knew not sin became sin so that we the sinner...

About The Trinity in The Old Testament: The Son Is The Right Hand of God

In many verses of the Bible is made reference to The Hand of God, and how His hand does wonderful things. The way these verses are written could drive us to ask if The Hand Of God is a person.  What does the term "right hand" mean? In the Hebrew cultural mind setting, there exists a great difference between a hand and the right hand. The right hand has power:  Hand" most frequently represents the ownership, power, or control that its possessor (either an individual or a people) exercises.[...] The hand of God, and especially the right hand, is also understood as a place of salvation, refuge, and protection (16:8). It is the favored position for the firstborn of Joseph to receive Jacob's blessing ( Gen 48:13-18 ), for the bride of the king ( Psalm 45:9 ), and for the chosen one who sits at God's right hand while judgment is rendered upon the earth ( 110:1 ; Jer 22:24 ). Who's Isaiah talking about?

Prophecy  Of The Salvation of God, son of The Mighty. (This is the prophecy) which He foretold concerning The Praised one, The teacher of peace. (The Prophecy) about the time of The one who is The Power of YHWH, The Perfect YHWH, The Owner of all (creation), The one strengthened by YHWH, my King, The Praised One... Contact and follow me on Twitter - @ricardoriyh The book of Isaiah is among the major prophetic books for Jews and Christians. This book has been in the center of polemics for centuries. Jews claim that Isaiah refers to the People of Israel as the central character of the prophcsies. The Chistian world on the other hand claims that many of the prophecies in fact refer to Christ. Prophecy is an important dimension of the word of God. In the Gospels is narrated how in several occasions Jesus predicts an event, to persuade his audience that when that event came to happen, they would come to believe in Him. For example, In John 13:18-19 he foretold his betrayal, in John 14:2...
